For centre learners : if you have any queries regarding your chosen course, please contact your course tutor at your approved centre – iBSL are unable to respond to course enquiries as we are the qualification awarding body only and not a course provider.

Continuing Professional Development (CDP)

iBSL is able to negotiate with training providers to issue certificates for any suitable CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses or workshops that they wish to run for Interpreters or Teachers of BSL.

Appointment of New Service Manager

Appointment of New Service Manager IBSL is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Service Manager, Michelle Jones, with effect from 1 January 2016.

Michelle brings a lot of experience to IBSL having previously worked as Divisional; Lead Area Manager at the Manchester College plus as Head of Education at East Lancashire Deaf Society, and is a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf in addition to holding a BA Hons degree in Education Studies & Deaf Studies from the University of Central Lancashire, Preston.

We look forward to having her working with us and taking IBSL to the next level.
